Miriam Landman's writings have been published by more than 35 publications and entities. In the past, she was a reporter, producer, and writer for the nationally syndicated public radio program Living on Earth.

Her articles and other written pieces have been published by a variety of media outlets (e.g., newspapers, magazines, public radio, and online media), including: the San Francisco Chronicle, public radio's Living on Earth program, Resilience.org, KQED.org, Natural Home magazine, Environmental Design + Construction, Urban Land's GreenTech magazine, GreenBuildingAdvisor.com, GreenHomeGuide.com, and the Environmental News Network (ENN.com). She was a regular blog contributor to MotherEarthNews.com, and she also publishes her own blog: The Green Spotlight.

Miriam was a contributing author for the book Blueprint for Greening Affordable Housing (edited by Global Green USA), which was published by Island Press in August 2007.

She is also hired to write or edit reports, guides, articles, manuals, case studies, and other publications for nonprofit organizations, companies, and government agencies. Among the more than 30 clients she has worked with are: The Climate Center (formerly Center for Climate Protection), Global Green USA, Environmental Defense Fund, the David Brower Center, the University of California/Cal State universities, Partnership for Sustainable Communities, Enterprise Community Partners, the National Building Museum, New Leaf Community Markets, and the City and County of San Francisco's Department of the Environment.
